Shade alone is not a complete description of a film’s performance, so compare the film line as well as the percentage.
VLT means visible light transmission. A higher percentage lets more visible light through the film. The existing glass contributes to the final result, especially when a vehicle already has factory privacy glass. Tell us about any factory-darkened rear windows and your preferred appearance for the front windows before choosing a package.
Chameleon film adds another decision: color. Its exterior appearance changes with light and viewing angle. Use shop photos to narrow your preferences, then discuss available colors and suitable glass coverage. If old tint is present, include removal in the conversation so your quote reflects the actual work.

Mention existing film and any removal needs. Old film and adhesive condition affect the amount of work involved; removing film is a separate service from installing new tint. Factory privacy glass and applied film are different, so ask if you are unsure what is already on your vehicle.

All work takes place at our Charlotte shop. Ask about expected timing before planning a ride or another commitment. At your visit, we confirm the coverage and discuss additional removal or specialty glass before proceeding. After installation, follow the care instructions provided for your selected film rather than guessing at a curing period.
Window tint, chrome delete, and taillight film change different parts of a vehicle’s appearance. Planning the coverage together helps you decide which details you want to emphasize. Start with photos of your vehicle and identify the chrome pieces or light sections you would like changed.
For chrome delete, specify window trim, door handles, mirrors, grille sections, or other accents. The number, shape, and condition of the pieces affect the installation plan. A grille-only job and a wider trim package are quoted separately because their work differs. We discuss suitable surfaces before confirming coverage.
For taillight tint, identify each lens section you mean. Some vehicles have lights split between the body and trunk. Tell us if old film or another coating is already present, and discuss both the appearance and the effect on visible light output before choosing coverage.
Submit a quote request with photos by email if useful. We confirm the scope, finish, price, and appointment arrangement for your vehicle. These services are performed at the shop. When combining them with window tint, ask about visit timing so the plan fits the work you want completed.
